1. Rinse and soak the ingredients in a cold bowl of water for 30-60 min.
2. Drain and put the ingredients into a pot and add 2L of water.
3. Bring to a boil. reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 2-3 hours.
**Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
Optional: Add carrots, corn, blanched chicken or pork.
Vegan option: Add a handful of cashews for additional flavouring.
